Brief Answer:
About hypothyroidism;

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
From your description, you are diagnosed with hypothyroidism. The most common cause of hypothyroidism is Hashimoto thyroiditis, a chronic autoimmune disease. That is why the treatment with levothyroxine is longlife.
Levothyroxine contains thyroid hormones and the T4 level you have checked is under treatment.
The TSH level is more a accurate indicator to monitor the dose of the TSH.
The treatment is started when TSH is over 4 mUI/ ml and under treatment it should be 0.4-4 mUI/ ml.
Please attach the result so I can suggest you further regarding the dose.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
