default
Posted on Mon, 2 Feb 2015
Question: With the B-Vitamin deficiency I am most of the time too tired to exercise. When I do try to exercise I get very ill, weak, sleepy and tired. What suggestions do you have for me to start out with for doing something as far as exercising. I even seem to start getting a cold, you know, like I feel like I'm catching a cold every time I attempt to exercise or exert myself. I am very scared.

Brief Answer:
Could be Hypothyroidism or Anemia

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam!

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

I understand your concern. The symptoms you described like tiredness, sleepy, weak and increased sensitivity to cold makes me think of Hypothyroidism and Anemia.

Hypothyroidism is more common in older women. If I were your doctor I would like to get you a TSH and a complete blood count done to know the exact status. One to two weeks after starting treatment, you'll notice that you're feeling less fatigued.

Hope this helps.Feel free to ask more.
