What Causes Swollen Lymph Node In Groin And Brown Discharge In Semen?

default
Posted on Sat, 27 Dec 2014
Question: I had heart catheterization on sept. 2 20014. I woke up the next morning on the 3 of sept. and my left nymph node in groin area was swollen and sore. I informed hospital staff then the pain went away and went into my left testical. I have blood or a reddish brown discharge in my semen and pain in that nut. the only relief I can get from the pain is through ejectulation. I have been put on 3 different antibiotics and it has not cured the problem. one was amoccillian 875 mg one was a weird color of blue capsule that made my teeth hurt and the joints in the left side of my body swell up I do not remember the name and the first I cannot remember the name of. they put me on the amocillian after the problems from the blue pill. that pill I was givin a ten day supply which I took all of the amocillian was a 14 day treatment which I took all of the first was a 7 day treatment. this is embaressing with having to call the doctors office and tell the reception person this every time. when they done the XXXXXXX they went in through my right side femoral artery which is very puzzeling since this is on my left. My doctor acts like he never heard of this before and can not seem to figure this out. Have you ever heard of this before after heart cath? If so how do I get rid of this problem? Thank you for any relief you might be able to help me with, XXXX

Brief Answer:
Urethritis/prostatitis...further tests/prostate milking advised...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and my thoughts go for possible:
- urethritis
- prostatitis
- local hematoma (during angiography procedure)

They are very difficult infections to be treated, and need more than 2 courses of antibiotics to use.

I'd advise to run :
- culture of semen
- abdominal/genital ultrasound
- STDs testing

for further evaluations and to determine the right causative agent and appropriate treatment.

With regards to the swollen lymph-node, it might be infected groin lymph-node or inguinal hernia. Physical examination would rule out inguinal hernia.

It is true that ejaculation is improving your symptoms. So, I'd advise to discuss with your urologist about methods of shrinking/milking the prostate to help improve your symptoms.

Hope it was of help!

I did have heart attack on sept. 2 2014 I am currently taking Lipitor 800mg at bedtime, baby asprin, effient 10mg, and a half of a pill of metoprolol tartrate 25mg ( half of a 25mg pill). I have always had good blood pressure at 107 over 78 on average. I have always been pretty healthy. I have been married and with the same woman for 28 years I do not believe this to be std related I took a seven day supply of antibiotics which did not help then was put on funny blue pill 10 day after taking 2 doses of this antibiotic I woke up the next morning and my teeth on left side of mouth hurt badly also there was considerable swelling in my left knee my ankle on left side hurt and left arm I called the doctor right away and he had me take also with the blue pill a 14 day supply of amocicilian after 2 days the pain in my teeth started going away the pain in ankle went away the arm I have been havind problems with tendonitis for over a year my left knee is still has inflammation. my right coronary artery was almost completely blocked where the artery does a uturn into the heart muscle the doctor put in a 3 something stint just one they said the rest of my arteries look good also said that they caught in time and thought there to be no damage to my heart because there was still a little blood flow through the artery. Could any of the medicines I am now taking cause this problem with my left testicle? has this ever been caused by heart XXXXXXX ?

Brief Answer:
Your problem have been caused by heart XXXXXXX ..

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

As I mentioned earlier it looks like hematoma or soft tissue damage of the area around your genitalia during angiography procedure.

You are taking now effient 10 mg and aspirin which are anti-platelet agent and are used to avoid stent blockage. But this medication also delays the healing of hematomas and soft tissue damage.

My answer is that your problems may have been caused by heart catheterization, while the combined use effient and aspirin delay the healing process.

Hope this answer your query.
Wish you health!

I went to my family doctor and I think he has god complex. He said there is no way this is caused by heart XXXXXXX and said he could cure me. I demanded he send me to urologist and it made him mad. I also ask the doctor that did the heart XXXXXXX and they said no way that this was caused by heart XXXXXXX even though they never even examined me. I am looking for new doctor now. Are these doctors telling truth? they both say they have never heard of a heart XXXXXXX causing a infection in the groin or testicle area. Thank you, XXXX
