What Causes Severe Ear Pain While On Augmentin?
Question: Hy doctor kindly reply my questions
Doctor i am taking augmentin regularly 1mg 2 times a day. now 8 days finished. 2 days remaining. Now doctor my only pain remaining is right ear pain (Slight pain) and also a slight pain of upper right jaw when i open my mouth. during last one week my pain were less but changing locations. And i also feel more sleepy these days. is that due to medicine or infection?
Uper jaw slight pain started today , can you please tell me what could be the reason of pains that are shifting locations?
i also want to mention that a slight throat pain of right side is also these and if i try to touch back end of my throat with my toung. i feel a salty area. what could be that.
i am in stress that i have some serious disease. kindly reply me.

Gargle with this solution several times a day for three days. Regarding sleepy I may say it is due to infection only but not due to medication.
2)You have written as pain shifting location it means you had some mixed infection that is why your doctor added antibiotics, so nothing to be worried it will complete its own course.

one more question that i have is , i have headache that started with same time when all these problems of throat started. headache is not very much but it is persistent mostly side and back of the the head. what could be the reason?

1)You have mentioned about mild headache in my opinion I may say that as you have no fever, cough, and sneezing so sinus infection can not be established, do check your blood pressure if normal then it is stress headache only so you can take paracetamol for it.you can do something at home which can help your headache problem like- Put a few drops of lavender essential oil on a tissue and inhale it. You can also add two drops of lavender oil to two cups of boiling water and inhale the steam.
2)Take medication as usual and gargle throat as I told before and doctor has suggested right medications for it and few days after antibiotic course you will be 100% alright.
3)Do not think about your disease again and again which will increase your anxiety more and you will be confused rather you can visit your nearest doctor. Regarding immune system you can take vitamin C regularly or you can eat oranges or drink its juice to boost immunity naturally.
4)regarding HIV I will say that it is a sexually transmitted infection, it can also be spread by contact with infected blood or from mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth or breast feeding.it can take years before HIV weakens your immune system.in all primary HIV infections fever must be present after 2 months of virus entry into body.it can be confirmed by the latest and quick blood test for HIV antigen only.

Thanks a lot for detailed answer , i have started this Apple cider treatment from yesterday. i am feeling some how better but i dont know it will be permanent or not. But i will continue. Augmentin 10 days finished. So now i am not taking any medicine.
One last question i want to ask, that is related with HIV fear. Infact 8 days before i was feeling burning pain on my penis head during masturbation and that buring portion was like small wound. now after 8 days its recovered but that portion is slight white color, and still my penis head is slightly burning, normally i dont observed but sometimes i feel. (last time i have done protected sex 8 month ago, and i am not as much sexually active person).

i am using acid vinegar, and cream clotrimazole on penis. And also i am taking vitamin C. But still not started fluconazole 150 mg.

Sir does fluconazole 150 mg is safe.? and one capsule is enough?
and kindly tell me 2000mg/day of augmentin was not high for me? means it might be the reacction of augmentin like yeast infection. but problem the day i started augmentin next day i hurt my penis can augmentin react like this or it worsen that? because now i have redness in penis.

Sir i have attached the pictures . kindly review and give your comments. may b in pictures its not very much clear (one part that skin was torn by me during masturbation is circled with red mark ) total 3 points are there one at the back side of penis head and two on front where is was feeling buring pain. Now After 2 days of clotrimazole and today yougart for 3 hours i am feeling much better. I have taken fluconazole 150 mg i hope it will work.
