I would recommend you to upload some higher resolution pictures of the ankle as well as buttocks.

According to the picture you have sent it seems to be fungal infection but I want clearer pictures to arrive at a diagnosis.

Moreover which cream are you using over the rash?

Are you diabetic or taking anyother medication?

Where did the rash first start?

Is anyone in the family having similar complaints?

I have reviewed the attached photographs.

It seems to be ringworm infection which is a fungal infection.

If I were you treating doctor I would recommend you to take oral as well as topical antifungals.

In such cases I recommend my patients to take tablet Terbinafine 250 mg once daily along with application of Clotrimazole cream on the affected areas twice daily.

This treatment is continued for 6 weeks.

For itching I recommend them to take tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.

These medicines are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.

Besides this keep the area dry, avoid sharing of soap and towel and stay in cool airy environment.
