Brief Answer:
Herpes Zoster or shingles: Take t/t earliest.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXX,

Welcome again to the forum and thanks for sending all the details along with pictures.

After reading your query and analyzing the pictures I can get that you are suffering form the condition called as "Herpes Zoster" or commonly known as shingles.

To tell first and important information to you is that - shingles occurs only one time in life. It begins as multiple blisters on one side of body and specifically at one region or one side of body only. The blisters remain for a period of around 7-14 days and then forms scab which falls off in next 2 weeks.

You can see that these are basically blisters which are present on one side of the body. It is not acne so do not correlate it with same.

It would be best if you take proper treatment for the same in form of antiviral and antibiotics. So meet preferably a dermatologist or your family doctor and apprise him/her with my suggestions to take an earliest treatment.

As you have got it from 2 days only so an antiviral treatment taken within 72 hours reduces the chances of persistent pain later.

In my patients I also suggest to take painkiller tablet such as paracetamol by mouth for two times a day after meals. This reduces the pain intensity and if pain persists then can take for 3 times at a gap of 8 hours.

For the itching part antihistamine tablet such as Loratadine (lorfast) would be most appropriate to be taken in the same manner as for paracetamol. Do not apply any kind of home remedies creams or ointments or any pastes as it alter the actual picture of the problem.

I further request you to not to touch the areas unnecessarily as it can cause further aggravation.

I hope these information will help you in dealing the condition better. I'll be glad to guide you any further.

With best wishes of early recovery of the problem.

Brief Answer:
You can meet a dermatologist in the morning.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXX,

Welcome again to the forum and thanks for your swift follow up.

I have gone thorough the prescriptions. Though I am not able to understand the writing of the doctor in case of the injections but in the other prescription antibiotics and pain killer are given.

I think you have been given some pain killer injection to reduce the intensity of pain or irritation. So you can wait overnight and can meet dermatologist in the morning. You can give me follow up and take suggestions with guidance as per
your convenience.

I'll be glad to guide you any further.

With best wishes of early recovery of the problem.
