Brief Answer:
There is glossitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
welcome to healthcare-magic
Greetings of the day

dear Ms

Thanks for providing the clinical photograph. There is Glossitis (inflammation of tongue) which is possibly due to Vitamin deficiency especially Vitamin B2.

I would suggest you the following

1. Oral multivitamin Supplements

2. Avoid alcohol/caffeinated beverages

3. Avoid hot and spicy food

4. Chlorhexidine mouth wash

If the lesion still persist then possibility of oral candidiasis needs to be considered

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you

Take Care

Best regards

I have been taking a multi-vitamin. I've also taken antibiotics for tooth absess and strep throat XXXXXXX and July of this year. I have been on PPI for years due to GERDS and Barretts esophagus. Could they cause B12 depletion?

I've had oral thrust each time I take antibiotics but it's never been orange, only white. How can i get rid of it, if it is candidiasis

?

Brief Answer:
Likely to be fungal infection

Dear Ms

I would suggest you to continue using Vitamin supplements and along with that Oral antifungal like Nystatin lozenges can be be used which will help in resolution. Concurrent use of antibiotics is predisposing factor for fungal infection.
