Brief Answer: Please find detailed answer below Detailed Answer: Hi, , Thanks for writing in to us. Recent research shows "With extremely low-serum AMH levels, moderate, but reasonable pregnancy and live birth rates are still possible. Extremely low AMH levels do not seem to represent an appropriate marker for withholding fertility treatment." AMH or anti Mullerian hormone helps in n knowing the ovarian follicle reserve in young women. You may be glad to know that studies show Low AMH level is NOT predictive of decreased chance of pregnancy in young healthy women. Young healthy women applies to those around 25 to 30 years in age. Please do not worry if its 0.6 in your case. Pregnancy has been reported even at undetectable AMH levels. AMH decreased after age 35 may have an impact on fertility rate as there is devrease in ovarian reserve. Therefore please do not worry. Hope your query is answered. Do write back if you have any doubts. Regards, Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer: Please find detailed answer below Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing in with an update. It is important to notice that a woman with low AMH levels can still conceive naturally. This test is used to evaluate the fertility potential in relation to ovarian response during IVF treatments. AMH analysis can help predict how many eggs you are likely to obtain in an IVF cycle. It may also identify women who may undergo early menopause, and therefore who may lose their fertility earlier than average. Although an AMH test can help pick up those who might lose their fertility more quickly, it cannot show who is more fertile than average, nor does it predict ovarian reserve in women with Polycystic Ovaries (PCO). At age 28, if AMH is 0.6 ng/ mL then there is more than 50% chance of having 6 or more eggs in attempted IVF (test tube baby). There are many things women with poor ovarian reserve can do naturally. There are a number of important vitamins that support healthy ovulation and help treat poor ovarian response. The main are Vitamin C, E, L-Arginine and CoQ10. So you may try taking foods rich in these vitamins. These can be found in fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy and nuts. You may also take vitamin supplements. Hope your query is answered. Do write back if you have any doubts. Regards, Dr.Vivek
