Hello,

You do not need to be worried about having a single ovary as it is not to cause any issues. However, your ultrasound is suggestive of underlying polycystic ovarian disease for which you need to follow up with OBGYN for detailed evaluation and management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
