5 - 6 days of positive ovulation testers... Could it be perhaps that I'm ovulating more than once in the month as opposed to PCOS? And hence the 6 or more days of positive LH surge detection?

Does the 6 day long surge mean that I also have a luteal phase defect?

What are the chances of concieving a child naturally with PCOS? And the chances of conceiving with fertility help? FSH levels are extremely good with levels below 5. All other hormones are within the normal range except SHBG being high well over 176.

Also should let you know that I had a blood test last year in April to test for the Anti-Mulluran Hormone in my blood and the result was 5.8 pmol / L, so 0.83 ng / ml approx. Im 28 years old, turning 29 years old this May...can you please tell me how many years of fertility do I have left before my eggs run out? Bare in mind I had the AMH test last year in April 2015. So a year has almost passed already... and will PCOS have a negative impact on my fertility window? I need to know a rough time I have to conceive. A year or two?

Can a second uterus be hidden from a transvaginal ultrasound?

doctor1 MD

Brief Answer:
Do not panic

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
As discussed in our previous conversation, the prolonged positivity in ovulation kits is likely due to increased LH levels in the body.
Ovulation cannot occur multiple times in one menstrual cycle.
Luteal phase defect is due to decreased...

Hi,

I am 33 y.o. female about to start IVF process. I have low AMH and borderline FSH (11.7).

I heard contradicting opinions about the best protocole for women with reduced ovarian reserve? What would be your recommendation: high dose of stims, or low dose...or even natural cycle?

Thank you! Best regards, XXXX

Detailed Answer:

Day 21 progesterone is less than 1 but cycles vary between 28 and 35 days. Last month was 40 days though the rest are usually regular. Does it mean I don't ovulate and I will never conceive naturally?

Please help I am worried to death. Not go no children and really want a baby
Asked by Me , 14 hours ago
Please can you help me. I am worried sick. I am trying to conceive I have always had regular cycles varying from 27-31 day cycles. In January I had a 30 day cycle which I am fine about but in February I completely missed a period (negative pregnancy test) Doctor did a Day 21 Progesterone and it came back as not ovulated as was at less than 1. I finally came on at the beginning of March which then gave me a 41 day cycle. I have had another Day 21 this month and it has come back the same as less than 1. I am currently on day 27 of my cycle? Should I worry that I am not ovulating or is it because I have had the late period? I am worried it might be the menopause and I really want a baby. I am trying so hard. I have got an appointment with Fertility Specialist next week but I wonder if you can help me before then please. What if I don't ovulate? What if I have low progesterone I want to conceive naturally. I have had Day 21 in the past and everything has been good and Day 3 FSH was 4.2 which I believe is good.

Do you really see I need to panic? Please help asap. Please help I am crying that I will never be a MUM

Many thanks

doctor1 MD

I have failed ICSI treatment?? Reason stated were there could be possible kochs still present after 8 months of ATT treatment in the past with AKT3. Now physician again putting me on AKT4 excempting ethambutol as i have reaction to this drug. Is it suggestable to go again with AKT4 along with DHEAPREG for ovarian reserve at the same time as AMH value is 2.9. OB/GYN says to continue this for three months and then go for laparoscopy to check for any healing. Please suggest is okay to go before i go forward with another cycle of ICSI or try naturally as suggested by second opinion when there is no problem with tubes and uterus there are also chances to conceive during this treatment.... Please suggest.
