Brief Answer:
All possible causes listed ma'am, I am sure it is nothing serious :)

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. While most muscle twitches can be perfectly harmless, some of them do indicate abnormalities and so I would like to go ahead and list all the possible causes for a muscle twitch like to one described by you:

+Nutritional deficiency (e.g. vitamin B12)
+Stress
+Side effect of medications
+Excessive caffeine intake
+Exercise
+Dehydration

As most of the causes are simple and harmless, most people tend to take twitches very lightly and in majority of the cases they are right in doing so. But if at all it resists all management attempts to correct any of the listed possibilities, it should be investigated for a stroke which will then have to be ruled out.

Although I do believe suspecting a stroke does not make sense, visiting a doctor to confirm the cause is a wise step forward. I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
