Brief Answer:
Possiblity of infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
welcome to health care magic,

Itching and burning around clitoris could be due to infection (mostly fungal or bacterial)

Usually when tight inner garments are used they prevent the evaporation of moisture leading to chaffing and bacterial and fungal infection leading to burning and itching.

You may require some tests like complete blood counts, urine routine and microscopy, blood sugar to confirm infection.

Here I am mentioning few things which could help,

1. Do not wash vaginal or clitorial area with soap or other cosmetic preparations.Doing so may cause further irritation and itching.

2. Use plain water or Lactacyd feminine hygiene liquid if available.

3. Wear loose cotton undergarments. Also try to keep the local area dry.

4. Increase the intake of water and other fluids to 4 to 5 liters a day.

5. Take tab cetrizine 5mg twice a day to get relief from itching.

6. Apply MICONAZOLE 2% ointment for local application 2 or 3 times a day. This is available over the counter in most countries.

7. If there is a bacterial infection (from blood and urine reports),suitable antibiotics (cephalosporins or quinolones) will be needed for 3 to 5 days course.

Your GP or some local doctor may prescribe it, if gynecologist appointment is not feasible.
