Brief Answer:
no need to worry. no problem.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the query and understood your concern.

Relax. No need to worry much.

Vitamin B12 is a water soluble vitamin and excess vitamin which can occur due to increase intake of medications (common reason) will be removed from the body. So even larger dose of Vitamin B12 is quite safe.
Only problem that may occur with B12 is allergic reaction with injections probably due to contaminants. So if any reaction occur while administration, the inj should be stopped.

so be relaxed. It will be normal.
I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask for any further queries. I will be glad to answer them.

Wish you and your friend a very good health.

I am concerned about my------- (spelling, sorry) leukemia or other serious disease. Though already thin, she has lost another 15 pounds in the last two years and cannot seem to gain
even though she eats a lot.
Should I still be reassured?
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Needs to be concerned

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Thanks for giving her history.

Based on the history of weight loss and raised Vit B12 levels there may be chance of release of Vit B12 with in the body.
She should be evaluated for any pathology in liver, kidney or in blood. As vitamin B12 may raise in liver disease, kidney failure and a group of blood cancers. So she needs to check for some basic investigations like complete haemogram, liver and renal function test with chest X ray and USG abdomen to rule out any pathology.

Kindly rule out any abnormalities in the above mentioned tests and complete examination by a physician is required.

I hope this information answered your query.
