What Causes Flare Up Of Folliculitis Every Sunscreen Is Used?
Question: Hi I've been told I have follicuitis,, every time I use my sunscreen it flares up can up recommend a sunscreen thanks

HI,
If oil based (cream like) sun screens are used it can further irritate the follicles and aggravate the folliculitis.
In such a case I advise gel based or water based sun screens. I prefer pure Aloe vera sun screens which are gel based. You can try that in your local store or pharmacy with spf over 15. May be you can use them more frequently than the SPf over 30.
