Question: 70 days and no one can figure out what I have. I have had a thyroid (hypothyroidism) for 17 years. I am constantly drained and fatigued. I have fevers throughout the day for the last 70 days ranging from 99.5-102.7. I lost all my arm hair and torso two weeks ago. I have seen an endocrinologist how prescribed phentramine 37.5mg he did lots tests but no answers. My last period was August 5th I have been single for 3 years and my pap smear has been normal. I had a colonoscopy (I suffer from constant constipation usually having bowl movements 1-2 times a week.) They placed me on linzess and it has caused bloating and gas nothing else. they found internal hemeroids and kidney stones but they did not specify location.I have intense abdominal and lower back pain in the kidney area. I eat and it feels like a XXXXXXX horse in my stomach and I end up throwing up. I don't know what else to do. they did find I have a skin disorder where my body has yeast bumps that are extremely painful. the pain I'd a level 10 and I don't know what to do

Brief Answer:
Thyroid

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to note how you feel.

1 It is important to ensure your thyroid is well treated.

Are you on thyroid medication?

If yes, which one?

What is the dose?

When was the last time your TSH and free T4 were checked?

What were the results?

Do you know if you have ever had thyroid antibodies checked? They are called anti TPO (Thyroid Peroxidase) and anti Thyroglobulin antibodies.

Have you had your thyroid removed with surgery?

These questions are relevant to know a) if you really need thyroid medication and b) if the dose is adequate

If the treatment of hypothyroidism it insufficient then it can lead to a variety of symptoms, some of which you have.

2 Have you had a CBC and CMP done? These are common blood tests.
When were they done and were the results normal?

3 I would also like to know if your menstrual cycles are regular or not.

Detailed Answer:
I see.

If test results are all normal then it is really a challenge to understand what is going on with you.

You need a good internist to examine you thoroughly and try to get to the bottom of this
