Posted on Fri, 8 Jul 2016
Question: ok so I've sent 2 messages paid my money and was told I'd get an immediate response guess not. however I'm including the original message I sent. I'm seriously having a nervous breakdown about what my dr office has did to me. with all my meds and telling me I'm discharged for my phentermine not showing in my blood drug screen and calling me a liar when I take it everyday. I'm including my post in this message so hopefully I can get help. I need answers I now have no dr, and it makes me look bad being discharged from a pain clinic for them saying I wasn't taking my meds. I fractured my back in 2 places in 2010, so I deal with chronic pain daily, thyroid removed due to cancer, kidney problems, herniated and bulged disk in back, constant swelling in legs. mental issues panic/ anxiety, ptsd, social phobia, bi-polar, can't drive due to seizures physcosmatic. leg tremors, I've had no voice since October 2015.

Brief Answer:
Zero blood levels of Phentermine is a false negative value.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I can understand your concern.

Phentermine should not be prescribed for weight loss in you case.

It's use is absolutely contraindicated in presence of Bipolar disorder and thyroid issues.

Phentermine drug blood levels which was tested in your case, might be false negative.

It's very important that you repeat the blood test levels again. It's virtually impossible not to show the blood levels as zero in presence of regular intake of daily Phentermine as 37.5 mg.So it's wise to repeat the test.

Phentermine itself can contribute to nervous breakdown.Hence it is best to avoid the drug use by gradually tapering off.

In order to reduce the bodyweight, thyroid hormone levels have to be in the normal range. It's important that get your thyroid profile checked.

For adequate weight loss, I generally prescribe oral pills of Orilistat for 3 months. This is an excellent drug to promote weight loss in a symmetrical fashion.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.

Also I would like to know what medications are you currently using for the control of symptoms of Anxiety and Bipolar Disorder.

Post your further questions if any.
Thank you.

I take Valium 10mg 2xs a day as well as 20mg 2 x's a day for anxiety. I don't know what I'm going to do I take pain meds (hydrocodone7.5mg synthroid 250mcg, vitamin b-12, and phentermine everyday. tomorrow was my appointment to have all meds refilled I don't care about the phentermine it wasn't helping anyway however I'm being denied the rights to see my dr as he has discharged me due to an error on there part. without synthroid I'll get sick because I have no thyroid he's cold turkey taking me off narcotics and Valium and Prozac I've been on for almost 7 years. the withdrawals from the Valium or more deadly then the hydrocodone. I have kidney problems I see a urologist as I keep kidney stones, I've has a Stent and I have to XXXXXXX myself daily. I don't know what to do. I'm sick now and then the practice does this and it's going to be hard to find another dr with all my health issues and medications when I've been accused of not taking them. all I drink is water I drink about a gallon a day a soda ever now and then. no alcohol, drugs or anything. I'm sick now I do believe it's coming from thyroid levels as well as a kidney infection. my hormones are everywhere considering I have no thyroid and also had a hysterectomy. please help me or guide me to what I need to do. I have a friend that's a paralegal and she said by law they can't just take me off medications cold turkey. nobody will return my call at the Dr's office they said I was discharged and to not call again. please all I want to do is sleep I'm so depressed I'm not a liar I did nothing wrong, I'm sick and I'm being treated this way.

Brief Answer:
Reexplain your situation to your doctors

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I worked through your query in detail.

I really feel sorry for your current state of affairs.

Yes, certainly it's very important not to withdraw the pain medications all of a sudden.

At this point, it's also very important that you consult an Urologist at the earliest to treat your kidney stones.

It's very important to continue Synthyroid as well.

I advise you to take the help of your paralegal friend and approach your doctors once again and place a request before them explaining your health issue and need for medications.

There is also another option, that you consult another pain specialist doctor from another area who can understand your concern.

I totally understand that you are not a liar.

it's also very important to check the status of the catheter.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

thank you very much for all of your help in wish I was located near your practice as not only are you a dr but, seem to be concerned about my wellbeing as I'm sure you take very good care of your patient's. if I may ask one more question I'm researching everything possible, I'm driving myself crazier. I even told my dr when I went last month I can't remember anything I can't. it's very embarrassing and depressing to have to have my husband write things down for me to do so I'll remember. I was on a forum post on a website and these people were talking about they had taken phentermine to get a rush or whatever they were abusing it. however the reason I told you of high much water I drink a day is because people that was asking others how to get phentermine out of there system because they weren't prescribed it was told to drink nothing but, water to flush out there system. who it or could it be medically possible with the amount of water I drink on a daily basis just because it's healthy and I stay sick on my stomach daily I also have H-polri so water doesn't make me as nasceious. however as I stated could or would it be medically possible since I drink nothing but water and alot of it could it have an impact on the false negative blood drug test for the phentermine !? you stated that I shouldn't have even been taking the phentermine because I have thyroid disease and no thyroid. could I share that information with the dr if they will listen to me? Again thanks so much for everything if you could just answer these questions few questions and give me your honest inputs on the situation.... thank you so much for everything and trying to help me!

Brief Answer:
Excessive water can result in Phentermine washout.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I can certainly understand your concern.

There is thereoticall possibility of Phentermine being washed out by excess water intake and a changed dietary plan.

At this point, it's important to completely eradicate H PYLORI infection to improve the clinical outcome.

I generally prescribe oral pills of H PYLORI KIT for 21 days to my patients.

Phentermine is absolutely contraindicated for use in patients with Bipolar disorder and those with thyroid issues(especially who are taking high doses of Synthyroid ).

Yes, you can share as well as cross verify the above information with your Doctor.

At this point, it's also very important to consider a short course of antianxiety medications like CLONAZEPAM at bedtime daily for 3 months with your physician's prescription. This drug will quickly allay all symptoms of anxiety and nervous breakdown pretty quickly and efficiently.

To conclude, plenty of water intake can washout the drug Phentermine and may result in false negative test.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
