1. Since theses symptoms are only since 2 days, this is an acute cold and sinusitis.
2. Continue the steam inhalation. Take an OTC anti-inflammatory (such as paracetamol), an anti-allergic medication (such as cetirizine or fexofenadine) and a medicated oral rinse (such as betadine). Adequate fluids and rest is required. A hypertonic nasal saline wash (such a Nasowash or Physiomer) will help relieve the dryness.
3. Anti-allergy medications may further dry the nose and throat (and some drowsiness), hence, if the symptoms persist beyond a couple of days or worsen, see a local doctor.
