What Causes Chemical Pregnancy After A Miscarriage?

default
Posted on Thu, 14 Jul 2016
Question: Hi,
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnent for over a year now. In April I had a cemical pregnency. And my 2 periods since then have been very "thin" and watery. My chemical pregnency discharge was very watery and I passed alot of clots. These periods are the same with out the clots. I've also been experiencing more pain then I normally do during my periods. Is this normal after a miscarage of 4w5d? When I got married I lost my health insurance so I have not been able to go to the doctor in over a year. When I was 13 I had surgery to correct a imperferated hymen. I had started my cycles LONG before that and almost died from my blader bursting. My uterus was so filled with blood that it pressed and eventually blocked my urethra. Other than that I have a tilted cervix and thats the only problems I have had. I am 25 now.
Thank you XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mrs XXXXXXX I understand your health concerns and agony involved with them.
In my opinion you need to get an ultrasound done as the symptoms you have been telling me can be due to poor quality of egg and endometrial lining of uterus because of the sequence of events before surgery for imperforate hymen.
Most commonly patients with such a history are prone to endometriosis and thus bad fertility or poor pregnancy outcome because of poor egg quality and endometrium.
Get the ultrasound done and then we can discuss further management.
