Brief Answer: can be a stone or infection in urinary tract Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing to HCM. This could be due either a stone or urinary tract infection. Though the urine test is essentially normal, but i would suggest that you get an ultrasound scan of her abdomen too, rule out any stone, as that can also present in a similar way. Also increased frequency of urination is one of the sign of urinary tract infection. Also the ultrasound will help rule out any other intra abdominal pathology. If that is also normal, show to a pediatrician for a physical examination. Hope i have been helpful. If any further query is there, feel free to ask. Regards Dr. Ashish Verma
