Question: Hello doctor,

I have just used the after morning pill for my very first time.
My first day in my last menstruation was 31.october.
The 14.november I had a unprotective intercourse with my bf, were he withdrew before ejaculation…not proud of this. We had been out on town.
Next morning, I panicked, and went straight to the drugstore were they gave me Postinor 1. I took the tablet within 24 hours.
The day after, I started having some cramps in my stomach and tender breast. I read on the internet that this was normal. But the following days after that the cramps in both my stomach and back increased. I also had some days were I felt like a pressure in my vagina, and around five days after the intercourse, the cramps in my stomach was mostly to one side, and it felt like stabbing cramps (Im sorry, Im not so good with english words, but hope you understand). Im also very tired, and feel "weird", hormonal I guess. Also I havent slept good the last week, but I guess that can be because Im thinking to much on this. No bleedings, but I had two days with a little bit tick white "discharge" (is that the right word?).
I dont have tender breasts anymore, but sometimes a feeling of itching. Very strange.
I have endometriosis, so its a little bit difficult for me to "get to know my cycle".
Time goes very slow now, its still a small week before Im "supposed" to have my period. I also know that you can not tell me if Im pregnant or not, only a test can with time…
but, I guess I just hoped that you could help give me some answers. Like, are all the symptoms I have normal after using Postinor 1? And is it normal to have them for this long? Its been a week now. Or do you think that there is a chance of me being one of those 5% who actually gets pregnant even using Postinor 1?

Well, you seem to be 100% sure in your answer, even I was in the middle of my cycle (and have read that Postinor dosent work if you have ovulation)-
but than I trust you to this, and will try my best to relax more.
I forgot to mention one thing, and that is that I have been having enormous gas production as well…like crazy. Is this just a side effect of the pill?
