Get another pregnancy test done; consult a gyanecologist
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.
I understand your concern.
Two lines on a pregnancy test strip generally means positive pregnancy unless proved otherwise. There can be some instances where false positive results can come, specially in cases of improper testing methods and if someone is on hCG therapy or taking fertility drugs.
So in case of positive pregnancy test, we generally ask for repetition of the test, preferably in presence of a doctor.
In any case, if one is found pregnant and does not want pregnancy, Medical termination of pregnancy can be done within first 7 weeks with mifepristone and misoprostol.
But first, confirmation should be done in presence of a doctor and further management can be planned accordingly.
Dont panic, visit a physician or a gynaecologist and get confirmation first.
Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
Get a transvaginal ultrasound done
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
There are more chances of this being a new pregnancy if any because you have taken MTP kit and the failure rate of it is very low. Also, you had periods after that.
But chances of it being the previous pregnancy cannot be ruled out as the bleeding you had could be spotting and there might not have been a complete abortion. Though it is unlikely, but we cannot rule it out.
To confirm, you can undergo a transvaginal ultrasound after consultation with your gynaecologist and it would be able to confirm the gestational age.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
Will it work bcz i dont preg at this time
You have to confirm pregnancy first
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
You need to confirm pregnancy first.
If you are not pregnant, there is obviously no indication of using MTP kit.
Follow as I have advised you before and let me know the results if possible.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
