Consistent High Specific Gravity Results Of Urinalysis. What Does It Mean?

I have had consistent high (1030-tan) specific gravity results of a urinalysis test strip using regent URS-10 strips. All my other results on the strip are fine. I drink plants of water throughout the day and void fine. What does this mean? I don t think I ve had a normal result in a while. Should this be investigated further Bethany you n

welcome to HCM!
Normal values of urine specific gravity are between 1.010 to 1.030.your values are towards upper side of normal reference range.
Increased urine specific gravity may be due to Dehydration ,Glycosuria
any condition causing decreased blood flow to the kidneys can be causing this but if no history of any heart or renal disease then you don't need to worry about this.
you can get blood sugar done to rule out diabetes and keep yourself hydrated.Take care!
