Hi again

I have seen the attached pictures .
You surely have some redness over the glans region .
I would like to treat you with a combination of topical steroid and antifungal cream .
Apply candid b cream over the affected area twice daily for seven days ,then use once daily for the next three days .
Do not apply any other cream or oil over the affected area.
I am sure this will take care of the redness and itching .

Hi again

I have seen the attached pictures .
Hope you are not applying anything else other than candid b cream .
Do not use things like dettol ,savlon or any other oil over the area .
Take tablet levocetrizine once daily at night.
See a nearby dermatologist if the problem still persists since a direct examination with a magnifying lens might be essential.

Brief Answer:
Observe for increase in rash

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

You can surely go ahead and take the medicine .
In case you feel that the redness is increasing on applying the medicine ,I would advise you to stop application of even candid b cream .
Simply wash the area with lukewarm saline water twice daily and observe if the rash settled by itself with the oral medicines alone.
Follow up in two to three days .

Brief Answer:
Apply the prescribed medicine

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

You have been prescribed a topical steroid cream by your doctor .
I am sure he must have examined the area well and must have noticed more signs of eczematisation rather than a fungal infection .
So you can start application of triamcinolone cream as advised .
Candid b also contains the same steroid along with an antifungal but if there are no signs of a fungal infection ,you can discontinue its use .
