Brief Answer:
List of possible causes; suggested tests also

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The numbness and dizziness can be related to a number of things:

+Cardiac abnormalities
+Circulatory abnormalities
+Fluctuation in blood glucose (mostly low blood sugar/hypoglycemia)
+Blood pressure fluctuations
+Poor nutrition
+Nutritional deficiencies

I do not think a hernia can exist in the arm region and cause such a presentation. Please request your doctor to conduct the following investigations:

+HbA1c and complete blood sugar profile
+Blood pressure monitoring
+Nutritional values
+Basal metabolic index
+Elaborate cardiac profile
+Complete hemogram

I am sure we should be able to find a few abnormalities in the above mentioned tests, and accordingly be able to correct it. I hope you can work with your doctor towards finding the cause and accordingly attain freedom from the presentation. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.

Best wishes.

I have gall stones removed in 1995.
I also have acupuncture around hernia spot in later stage after surgery.
I work in supermarket as a night filler do lots of heavy lifting continue and open boxes for about 9.5 yrs and other exercise a lot. I quit the job 2 months ago as hurting arm muscle .

I feel stress mentally physically at workplace and studies and have insomnia and nausea before.

After discussion with you my hernia lesion seem not the main problem.
I will get it check up with GP tomorrow or blood test. Ultra sound can't see the lesion hernia before and X ray is for bones only don't know mosquitoes bites in garden cause this problems.
Shall I do a CT or MRI ? Can blood test check the mosquito bites?

I took Cartia just an hour ago. I hope tomorrow pain or numb go away.
I cant stretch my arm very far due to pain restrict my movement.

This has been like this for 10 yrs but my past is less pain than today. See you later.
Thank you for your wonderful Advice. I see Dr as soon as by tomorrow instead keep taking Cartia.

Brief Answer:
Pls do visit a doctor and find the cause for the pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Arm muscle herniation is very rare, and in most cases is not serious enough to go about any major treatment, but is almost always caused by strenuous physical activity. If at all it is indeed an arm muscle herniation, then a mild surgical intervention can help solve the issue completely.

I do not think that a CT or MRI would be necessary, as they are both expensive and do not really carry and major indication as of now. Let your doctor physically examine the region tomorrow to reach to a conclusion, and if he/she is really struggling then we can try to go about a CT scan of the region.

For now, try to fit in a surgical consultation as well. Some one who can rule out other conditions like neurofibroma's.

A blood test would confirm mild inflammation, but nothing really to confirm a (one) mosquito bite.

Yes, I would appreciate it if you would consult a doctor who can physically examine you and provide us with a more in-depth opinion, as I cannot do that due to our online consultation. Please do keep me in the loop, so I can accordingly guide you. I would also like it if we can find the source and treat you, instead of you taking more and more pills (e.g. Cartia).

But if your pain has been persistent for almost 10 years now, then we need to work towards finding the cause at the earliest.

Best wishes.

Of course XXXXXXX I am always here to help

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again XXXXXXX

Yes please do not hesitate to keep in touch with me, and write to me anytime. Not just now, but even in the future, I want you to think of me as your neighbour who you can easily contact and speak to, I am always here to help.

Yes, we need to be a little careful with snakes, but the region of the bite would have turned purple purely due to the bite itself and should have healed soon after, am I right? If there is still some discolouration even now or any other trouble with the region, send me an image and I would be more than happy to guide you accordingly.

Keep me informed sir,

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Yes, pls do get an MRI spine conducted

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.

Your lipid profile is mildly away from normal, but then your cardiac profile should also be investigated to confirm this to be related to the arm pain.

But you are quite right in getting your spine investigated (MRI spine would be the best investigation), any abnormality (e.g. injuries, slip disk, hernias, spondylosis, etc.) can easily be the cause for the pain in the region. It is clearly not muscular, so let us look into a vascular cause.

Best wishes sir.

Thank you Dr Shoaib XXXXXXX

I have pain on my spine too. I had a few massage last month maybe worsen it. I have a kidney stone unable to operate on my left kidney. The laser surgeon saw the CT on my kidney realize that my 14mm stone not on the channel area which camera or laser can't reach unable to see unable to operate.

I will need CT or MRI on my spine or neck maybe if X ray not clear.
CT have more radiation than X ray and MRI.
Does MRI can see better details than CT?
Thank you for the suggestion. Maybe not a good idea to do massage on spine.
I ask my Doctor advice Monday. Have a goodnight.

Brief Answer:
Please avoid massages and chiropractors

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.

It there is a bone spur, or any such structural abnormality with your spine then massages are strictly contraindicated, so please avoid them from here on.

I am sorry to hear about the badly placed nephrolithiasis, and hope the position changes.

No, x-ray will not be helpful, we need an MRI sir.
An MRI spine is usually ideal.

No no, please avoid the spine and any such repositioning, including chiropractors.

Keep in touch XXXXXXX

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Get the knee looked at, the spur can be removed

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

It shouldn't be a problem to have them together, so please go ahead.

Walking is not really the solution to treating a bone spur in the knee, I would recommend an X-ray of the region and possibly even an arthroscopy of the knee to help treat the spur problem almost immediately.

An X-ray of the neck and if possible even an MRI of the spine please sir.

Cancer is a very low possibility at this point sir, why would you suspect cancer?

Best wishes.
