Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and following points need clarification from your side for better understanding and management of disease.
1. is
back pain due to unusual activity [sudden lifting of heavy weight or lack of exercise] or occupation related [poor posture, overweight]?
2. Any Examination [SLR test and EHL weakness] with Orthopedic Surgeon done, and did he ruled out any abnormal spine curvature or prolapsed intervertebral discs?
3. I usually recommend the following guidelines with my patients, when they complain of low back ache:
i. Hb%, X-ray LS spine [AP & Lateral] for
Osteoarthritis,
disc prolapse, TB spine,
osteoporosis and same is expected from your side to kindly exclude the same.
4. any associated symptoms felt like:
.
numbness in the legs and feet.
. shooting pain in the buttocks.
. weakness in the feet and ankle joint.
. bladder disturbances?
5. please revert back with following concerns for Ayurveda Dietary Regime and management, in the mean time
BED REST is the best Management for you
i. Relax the spine completely.
ii. Do not lie face down.
iii. Lie on your back with pillow under the knee.
iv. Lie on the side with a pillow between the knees.
v. Distract your mind from the pain, watch television, read light humorous stories, listen to soothing music.
vi. Take 4 spoons of XXXXXXX juice
4 spoons of ginger juice
4 spoons of honey and take for 1 month.
. Boil 100 gm black pepper powder in 300 ml til tail--- filter, cool and massage OR mix dried ginger in castor oil and massage.
PS. Too much straining during defecation [during piles] can cause sprain in the muscles of the back, make sure you are not suffering from
constipation.
