Suggest Treatment For Low Blood Pressure While Treating Hypothyroidism

Question: Yes. I am on triamterene-hctz 37.5/25 mg for fluid retention. I have hypothyroidism and recently been diagnosed w/hashimoto thyroiditis. I see a psychiatrist and she recently gave me a script for amitriptyline Hcl 10mg to,help me sleep. I took the trip XXXXXXX at 6:00 pm.
At 8:30pm I checked my blood pressure it was 106/67; 83. At 9:03 pm I took the amitriptyline. At 9:35 pm my blood pressure was 94/65; 88
I'm trying to stay awake maybe it will come up before I go to bed. Will this b ok?

Hello,
No need to worry, it should be alright. Till the time you are not having any symptoms like dizziness, fainting etc, it not worrisome. You keep some ors or salt sugar water along with you and if it falls below it have it around 200 ml. Have some food, if not had.
If dose of triamterine is due to few hours or if bp is less than 100 during due time, you should withhold it's dose.
