Brief Answer:
Follicular monitoring

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, thanks for responding. Since you are having prolonged cycles and polycystic ovaries, you are having polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). There is irregular or no ovulation in PCOS, and hence there is difficulty in conception.
I will suggest you to get follicular monitoring by ultrasound starting from 9th day of next cycle (first day being the starting day of periods) , and to be continued every alternate day till the follicle rupture, indicatinig ovulation, or till day 18 if follicle do not rupture. This is to be done to assess the ovulation and is must for planning conception.
Meanwhile, you should start taking folic acid 5 mg once a day as taking it in preconceptional period reduces the chances of congenital anomalies in the fetus.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you both good health. You can later get back to me by asking a direct query to me on health care magic portal.
