Brief Answer:
Menorrhagia...start meprate and antifibrinolytics

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for contacting health care magic.

In your case as the bleeding is for last 10 days and heavy, it needs to be reduced and stopped. With irregularity and periods at 43 years of age and history of hypothyroidism and diabetes, such episodes are seen often.

At our place we suggest the use of antifibrinolytics and meprate together to stop the bleeding. However the side effects like nausea, vomiting and dizziness are minimal as compared to the amount of bleeding you have already undergone. So you may consider:-
1. TAB TRANEXAMIC ACID 500mg thrice a day for 5 days.
2. TAB MEPRATE 10mg twice a day for 5 days.

Please discuss regarding these medications with your doctor. These should reduce and stop your bleeding and you can proceed on your travel by tomorrow. Ideally you should undergo an ultrasound pelvis once the bleeding stops.

Thanks

Regards.
