Suggest Remedies For Back Pain While Sitting And Walking

Question: Since yesterday evening I am having back pain while sitting and walking due to I think some bags that I carry in morning, I took Flexon MR one tablet and applied fast relief on spine at the back but could not sleep thru out the night. Could you pls advice line of treatment with precautions and number of days it can take to be normal.

Causes of back pain

Strained muscles
Strained ligaments
Lifting weight improperly

When to Seek Immediate Treatment for Lower Back Pain
Most cases of low back pain do not require urgent care, but anyone should see a doctor immediately if low back pain is a result of trauma, or if pain is accompanied by any of the following symptoms:

Fever and chills
Unexplained recent weight loss
Significant leg weakness
Sudden bowel and/or bladder incontinence—either difficulty passing urine or having a bowel movement, or loss of control of urination or bowel movement (cauda equina syndrome)
Severe, continuous abdominal pain (abdominal aortic aneurysm)
A muscle spasm.
If pain persists or worsens, more involved diagnostic and surgical procedures may be recommended.

Pain killers and muscle relaxants would help in reducing pain. Ex Hifinac , Hifinac MR or ultracet tablets. you can continue your previour musclr relaxant tab along with XXXXXXX Pantop 500mg before food twice daily for 2 more days.

Exercise for Lower Back Pain.
Exercise is a key element of almost any lower back pain treatment plan. Typically an exercise program will be developed and taught by a spine health professional, such as a physical therapist, chiropractor, and will include three components: aerobic conditioning, stretching, and strengthening.

The exercises are best done through a controlled, progressive program, with the goal of building toward a stronger, more flexible spine.

XXXX you may continue muscle relaxant twice daily before food along with tab pantop 500mg.Take proper rest,
support your back while sitting for long hours
dont lift heavy weights untill you get recovered
keep hot fermentation over your back which increases blood circulation and give relaxation
get done hot oil massage on your back
you can use volini spray too.

usually the people who works lot in sitting position will be coming to us with such sort of back pain problems, we will give them above mentioned treatment

Time duration is totally depend on each individual.
It depends on the cause of back pain, if its only muscle strain , it gets reduce in 3- 4 days.
If its due to slip disc , infection of vertebral bone , fracture of vertebral spine. that to be treated accordingly. so getting cured is totally depends on the cause of the pain.
for you if pain is not getting redused , meet your local doctor/orthopedic surgeon to get done examine.

So it got reduced but not subside fully, what can be the reason? As the pain is not there while bending down but its there at the back white sitting in office.

Also need to know the reason when applying hot water bag the pain is going towards right leg toe. What can be the reason there is no pain in left leg as well as left hand side of spine its only right side. Please provide details. How many more days will it take to subside.

Bases on your symptoms you are likely to have sciatica, this can lead to radiating pain from back to both lower limbs, some times it can be only one limb.(unilateral).
For further evaluation of sciatica you need to get done MRI whole spine done.

Actually i am sitting in office after taking muscle relaxant, but there is no pain while bending down and moreover the pain is going toward right foot toe whenever hot water bag is applied while sleeping. What can be the reason as i am far better than few days back when i was not able to stand as well.

Please suggest.

2. medication - oral pain killers and muscle relaxants are given for mild to moderate cases

3 Epidural steroid injections is given,if the pain is severe, an epidural steroid injection can reduce inflammation. Unlike oral medications, an injection goes directly into the painful area around the sciatic nerve to address the inflammation that may be causing pain.

You had tried heat therapy, oral muscle relaxnts but it is not resolved completely.
so you have to meet local orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and for further evaluation, he might suggest you for epidural injection or any surgical procedures.
