No further testing required

Detailed Answer:
Hi
welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Sir,

First and foremost let me reassure you, there is no cause for concern and repeating the test.
PCR is one of the specific and sensitive test for detection of HIV infection. If the individual is infected, PCR becomes positive withing 2 weeks of exposure.
Your PCR done at 7 weeks 4 days is negatively , which conclusively rules out HIV infection. Further 4th geberation test are also negative, so there is no need for further Testing.

In case you require any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Brief Answer:
Stress and lack of sleep could be the cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings,

First be relaxed there is no cause to be concerned about due to HIV .

Stress, lack of sleep , inadequate diet may lower ones immunity and cause such symptoms. i would suggest you the following which will definitely be helpful apart from taking antibiotics

1. Steam Inhalation: 15 to 20 minutes each session preferably using electronic steamer
2. Warm Saline Gargling: To a glass of lukewarm water add 2 spoons of salt, gargle thrice a day
3. Decoction: to a cup of milk+ 10 tulsi leaves+ 1 spoon turmeric+ 2 gm fresh ginger+ 2 black pepper+ 2 spoon of sugar. Boil it, filter it and feed warm thrice a day
4. Antihistaminic like Cetrizine will be helpful
4. Combination of Paracetamol and Caffeine will be very helpful for headache.

Do not worry , you should be doing fine soon.

doctor another gum clinic said you have test at 12 weeks this why we are so confused with this.
doctor
Answered by Dr. Deepak Kishore Kaltari (7 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
window period is for antibody detection test only

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings,

12 weeks window period is for Serological test done to detect antibodies. Even if the individual gets infected , such test may be negative. It is due to time taken for antibodies to develop which usually takes between 8 to 12 weeks.
As PCR detects antigen( which is direct marker of viral particle), it does not depend on development of antibodies. Negative test rules out HIV infection. So there is definitely no need to be worried about.
Enjoy your sex life with your wife.
