Detailed Answer:
Dear sir
The best way to reduce triglycerides is life style modification. This is more so, at level of 269 because most of international guidelines forbid use of drug therapy to lower triglycerides at levels less than 500. Most important among these are cessation of alcohol use, optimal weight, daily exercise and avoiding too much of carbohydrates. Paradoxically increase in unsaturated fats and reduction in carbohydrates lower triglyceride levels.
An Asian male should have body mass index of 23.
At least 45 minutes of brisk walk should be done daily under supervision.
Too much dependence upon cereals and milk , processed foods, sweets, sugar etc increase triglycerides.
Hope this helps. Feel free to discuss further.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
1. I am sorry but do not see your report uploaded on this page. You may re-upload it or contact our customer care executive for help in this regard.
2. Your height is not clear is it 57.5 inches or 5 feet 7.5 inches? If it is 5 feet and 7.5 inches, your wieght and BMI is optimal.
3. We consider the walk to be contributory when it is leisure time walk without any tension/ worries/ anxieties. The walk to office is not valid for this purpose. Do it without your cellphone early morning or in evening.
4. It is good that you avoid eating too much of rice. This will definitely help.
Raised Triglycerides can cause pancreatitis, a dreadful complication, but occurs rarely below 500 mg% and uncommonly below 1000 mg%. So you need not worry. The association of triglyceride with heart attack and stroke is a matter a debate. It is considered to be a risk factor but much less stronger than LDL and total cholesterol. Some authorities consider it as a considerable risk and some do not.
The drug therapy is not warranted for raised triglyceride up to 500 mg % (1000 mg% in some guidelines). That again underscores this to be a low strength risk factor.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
Your total cholesterol (165 mg%), LDL cholesterol (69mg%) and HDL cholesterol (42 mg%) are within normal limit. Triglyceride levels (269 mg%) are higher than normal which requires life style modification only. The details of same are available in previous two answers.
Rest of reports seem within normal limits.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder

Brief Answer:
Please see below

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
The test is called "Basic lipid profile" or "lipidogram". This is normally repeated after 12 weeks or more to assess response to life style modification or drug therapy.
This level of hypertriglyceridemia usually is not associated with any symptoms.
Yes, like all NSAIDs, "combiflam" has its share of side effects. You need to consult your internist/ physician and ascertain cause for headache and take appropriate medicines. If he feels so, you may have to see your eye specialist too. It is not feasible and justified to prescribe drug at this forum.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
