Brief Answer:
syphilis occurs only within 90 days

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for syphilis.

As per your query you have had protected and unprotected sex almost 90 days back that means 3 months back.

The most important part from your query is that the time since the incidence occured is now almost now 90 days.

To tell you simply about syphilis it occurs within 9 to 90 days of the unprotected sex.

As per the information there has been passage of 90 days of time since the incidence so the chances of syphilis are unlikely.

Even if you're so much worry about the possibility of syphilis then you can undergo a simple test which is known as VDRL blood test which tells whether or not syphilis is present in person.

As per my clinical experience you do not have any possibility of syphilis because of no symptoms within 3 months. So rest assured for any possibility of syphilis enjoy the weekend.

With my best wishes for good health

Brief Answer:
Kindly send a good resolution picture of the lump

Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,

Thanks for follow up and further query.

Though syphilitic sore can occur on any site including the thigh area but there are certain important characteristics of the same. It is a button like sore (ulcer) and not lump with characteristic firm or indurated(firm to hard) margins which is typically painless.

I request you to kindly send a good resolution picture of the lump so that I can help you better. For that you have a feature to upload images by yourself at the right side of the query page. Or else, you can send as an attachment to YYYY@YYYY with the subject as "Attn: Dr. Sanjay Kumar Kanodia.

None the less as suggested before you can go for VDRL test which is conclusive for the diagnosis of syphilis.

Hope to hear you soon from your side to help and guide you best.

With best health wishes,

Brief Answer:
Picture show inflammation of oil gland & hair root

Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,

Thanks for your follow up and posting good resolution picture so that now the things are crystal clear now.

After analyzing the picture with diligence I reassure you cent percent that you do not have syphilis. As I said previously that syphilis sore has the characteristic button like ulcer with firm or indurated margins without any pain.

In your picture I can not see a sore but rather a simple mildly red area without any ulceration. The present problem in yourself is simple remanent of inflammation of oil gland and hair root. In many cases it can persist it longer so is in your case.

Additionally to tell you more importantly that in today's modern era, syphilis is in quite down hill trend and therefore the cases of syphilis exposure are on least of side.

So I fully reassure you that you do not have syphilis and rest assured for any rarest of rare possibility of syphilis.

You must now completely relax regarding rest of any issues and should not give any second thoughts.

My all good wishes for your healthy life ahead.

I will be glad to help if you have any further queries or if not then can close the discussion and rate the answer.

"Wish you good health"

Regards,
