Brief Answer:
Common side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I understand your health concerns but taking diane or XXXXXXX will rather improve your PCOD. It will improve the hormone levels and also lower down the androgens which are the main culprits behind all the problems seen in PCOD patients.
Hot flushes are very common in initial few months of pill intake but still get your thyroid hormone levels and sugar levels checked.
I hope I have answered your questions but in case you have any query i will be happy to help.

Brief Answer:
Diane 35 is better

Detailed Answer:
Yes you should keep taking the pills.
Diane 35 is better in PCOD patients.
If you don't want to conceive as yet or in near future then take these pills daily for at least 6-9 cycles.
Take care.

Answered by Dr. Manisha Jain (6 hours later)
Brief Answer:
can cause weight gain

Detailed Answer:
Some people definitely gain weight in initial cycles but once you take it regularly then eventually when your hormones are back in normal state then it will get normalized and you will be back in shape.
Also you can start some light walk or a similar exercise so that Diane shows its effect at earliest.
But it will be best to take it so as to halt the process of PCOD pathology.
Take care.

im just afraid that maybe if I take pills the polysistic cysts will add more.. because I dont ovulate..
doctor
Answered by Dr. Manisha Jain (5 hours later)
Brief Answer:
no such issues occur with pills

Detailed Answer:
No there is no such risk.
Ovulation is inhibited so that not even there is any recruitment of follicles so no extra follicles are formed.
PCOD is eventually improved.
Don't keep anything against the use of pills as they are very helpful in maintaining the normal hormonal mileau in body.
