Brief Answer:
Isolated back pain is mentioned in side effect, rule out UTI

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I have gone through your query.

Invokana is newer anti diabetic agent acts via the excreation of glucose in urine. It causes volume depletion, and urinary tract infection. The are no report which suggest it causes isolated back ache.

If you have lower back pain, then I would look into other causes including urinary tract infection.

Presently I would suggest you to drink plenty of water.

Hope this helps.
I'll be glad to clear your further queries.
Take care

I did an urine test with no sign of UTI. I also started pravastatin recently and have been working out as well. I am taking Diovan , furosemide and hydralazine for HBP. Is there a chance any of these other drugs could be causing the problem or severely tight muscles?

Brief Answer:
Statins might be responsible, serum electrolyte investigation

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Good to hear from you.
Few of the side effects produced by the status are muscle or bone pain, muscle stiffness. This might be responsible for back pain.
As you are taking furosamide and hydrazine, I would have asked you for serum electrolyte investigation, as alteration in these can also present with these symptom.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
