Suggest Alternate Drug For Diovan

I have been taking Diovan for 5 months and due to the expense have been put on Losartan Potassium 100 MG. I am concerned about the side effects, especially of dizziness and back pain (already experience some of those). Is there a safer drug to recommend that is affordable?

Hi,

You haven't mentioned for what you have been taking Diovan. If you were using it for hypertension, you should get yourself checked how is the blood pressure after shifting to Losartan. You should not change the medicine frequently if your blood pressure is under control with one medicine. You can discuss with your physician, as the information is incomplete.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
