Brief Answer:
You may take Equaline for the symptomatic relief.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir, Hi & Welcome.

Based on the history given I can understand your concern for the safety of OTC medications for the relief of common cold symptoms while taking certain prescribed medications for your heart disease.

Equaline (Loratadine) is a non-sedating antihistamines (does not cause drowsiness) does not cause any harmful interactions with Warfarin, Metoprolol or Pacemaker implant and hence a safer medication for the symptomatic relief of common cold symptoms.

Beside, you can also take steam inhalation for the relief of running nose or chest congestion.

If symptoms do not resolve, kindly consult your physician for proper clinical examination to rule out respiratory tract infection and to prescribe suitable antibiotics to eradicate the infection caused by susceptible bacteria.

Hope this answers your query, however if you have any follow up query, kindly send it.

Best regards.
