Brief Answer:
yes you can

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Kids at this age usually have difficulty in accepting medicines.
There are two ways.
1. Mix in formula milk.
Most of the medicines can be mixed in milk. There are a few exceptions like iron supplements which can be mixed only with juices.
2. For paracetamol you can try anal suppositories which can be inserted in the anus.
Stick to panadol. Ibuprofen should be given only rarely if fever is very high.
If fever doesn't settle in a few days, consult your pediatrician.
Wishing your child good health and speedy recovery.

Brief Answer:
will settle soon

Detailed Answer:
I think the fever is the result of gastroenteritis which you described.
Even after vomiting and loose stools settle, fever may last a few days.
However if fever lasts more than 2 days you need to check for typhoid fever etc.
Otherwise no need to worry
Regards
