Brief Answer:
Not related to HSV 1

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have checked the attached image. The rash seems unrelated to HSV 1. Rather it could be either due to some allergic reaction or a low platelet count. Getting a routine blood count will make things clearer. You can get it done and can share the results using the facility on the upper right of this page.

Brief Answer:
It is due to some allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Sorry for not being able to respond earlier.

Going through the details mentioned as well as the attached image it seems definite that the rash as well as the sensation is due to an allergic reaction. It is hard to comment on the trigger but some antiallergic like cetirizine tablet taken one a day for a few days should provide relief. You may also apply calamine lotion for topical relief.

Brief Answer:
Taking cetirizine or any other antiallergic should still help.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I have gone through the reports. The Eosinophil count that I was concerned about, is not raised. But that does not rule out an allergic reaction. Taking cetirizine or any other antiallergic should still help.
