What Physiotherapy Can Aid Recovery Post Rotator Cuff Surgery?

I had rotator cuff surgery. Deteriorated ligament was removed and bottom connected to the bone. Doctor had to connect the ends of ligament to my shoulder bone. I want to find out what PT I should be doing and how long after surgery do I need to wait before I start PT.

I would suggest you to weight for 8 weeks before physiotherapy. You can move your elbow but shoulder movement can not be started. After 8 weeks you will need following exercises.
1.Pendulum exercise
2. Assisted abduction with other hand
3. raise your hand with support from wall
4. Local heat application
