Puss Cells Count Is 16-18, Transparency Is Slightly Cloudy, Wbc Is 11.2, UTI ?

hi doc , my puss cells count is 16-18 and the transparency is slightly cloudy my segmenters result is above the normal 0.67 just as my wbc is 11.2. and a few epithelial cells which is also above the normal. i have good chest x ray result and fecalysis too. does this mean i have UTI? or not just UTI? if ever i take prescriptions will this assure me that after taking them i will not have UTI?

Hi there.

Your urine shows high concentration of pus cells which is indicative of Urinary tract infection. Some infections are not associated with symptoms like burning sensation on passing urine, fever, lower abdominal pain or back pain.

You will need to drink 2-3 litres of water daily for a week. Drink Syrup Potrate 2 tablespoons for 3 times a day for a month. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. You may need antibiotics for which your Doctor can prescribe based on Urine culture and sensitivity results.

Get your urine tested again after a month to look for response to treatment.
