Nose Blockege

dear sir i am the resident of gurgaon India. presentably i am in Oman. although i am frequent sufferer cold and cough but here in Oman my nose always discharging mucus(yellow). now my nose is almost blocked, most of the time i am breathing with mouth. i am not feeling smell also. due to this problem i am unable to sleep in the night. sir pl suggest what i should do. is this could be cured by operation ?

You are probably having sinus infection or sinusitis.Since the mucus is yellowish ,there is infection by microorganisms.So you need antibiotics for stopping the discharge and crusting that blocks the nose.Please visit a near by ENT physician.You may try using saline nasal drops for the time being...
