X Ray Shows Suspicious Density In Upper Right Lobe. What Is The Interpretation Behind This Remarks?

Hi there, I had my x ray pa view last week and I have my result as suspicious density in my upper right lobe.. What is the interpretation behind this remarks?.. I am 24 yrs of age..On my own opinion it is probably because of the handling of the film which causes dirt go on to the film.. I am looking forward for your answer..Thanks..

Hi,

The suspicious density in your right upper lobe can be a consolidation due to infection like pneumonia; it can be Tuberculosis in the right upper lobe. It can be fibrosis due to smoking.

It is definitely not because of dirt going on to the film.

The doctor who X-rayed you can explain you better about the finding.
