Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,

Weight gain is known side effect of Microgynon and may and may not occur for a particular individual like you. In my opinion, there is a need to wait with cross hands with proper exercise to make sure that there is no weight gain with any medication for you. I mean to say that a healthy life is key for weight maintenance and should not be ignored.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar, Psychiatrist
