General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi Gaurav,

Welcome to HCM.
You may be having calcium deficiency. Consult a neurologist and get a thorough examination of your nervous system done to rule out any neurological pathology. Most likely every thing will be normal. In that case you may try taking one calcium tab. daily for one month and neurobion tab. one daily for one month. Neurobion is a combination of B Complex vitamins which help in the nerve functioning.
Wish you all the best.

Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Praveen Tayal's  Response

Thanks for writing to us.

The muscle spasms that you experience are usually due to momentary ischemic injury or electrolyte imbalance in your body. Taking some antioxidants or alanine supplements will help you. I will also encourage you to consult an orthopedician for proper examination to rule out any serious disorders.

I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
