Why Is My Child Feeling Sleepy And Forgetting Things While On Valparin For Epilepsy?
my son is 14 yrs old . he is a epilepsy patient for last 5 yrs and used to take valparin chrono 500mg twice a day. but now the doctor have stated oxetol 300 and valparin chrono 300 twice a day. his main problem is that he feels sleepy and forgets things very easily

Sometimes this could be due to medications for epilepsy. Also make sure he doesnot have any unwitnessed epileptic fits at night. Is he sleeping well. If you still feel that he is having the problem you can approach your paediatrician or neurologist for advice on the medication he is taking.
