Why Is My IGM Level Positive?

Sir, My Igm Level is Positive with 1.200, and my IgA and IgG are Negative. I have taken vaccination of Thyroid, MMT,Meningnitis and other vaccinations for my Medical Examination on 3rd Nov'10. I have undergone my last medicals on 3rdNov'10 and everything was alright. On5th Dec;10 when i have undergone diagosis, my IgM levels show positive. Could you please tell me why it has happen so, and what is the treatment for it. I donet have any negetive symptons of TB. Please advice.

hello and welcome to HCM,
Ig M antibodies are done for recent infection.
Ig G antibodies are done for past infection.
I understand from your history that you are having symptoms of tuberculosis thus a positive Ig M for TB is suggestive of tubercular infection.
However, this test is not gold standard for tubercular infection.
Isolation or identification of tubercular bacilli is confirmatory of tubercular infection.
Thus, consult your primary healthcare provider for other tests to confirm tubercular infection.
