Why Having Insomnia, Anxiety And Joint Pains After Being On Patch?

I had an LAVH BSO in 2012. I did great on the patch for one year then hit a wall! Hot flashes and not sleeping at all, I was switched to estradiol 2mg twice daily, still have lots of issues with insomnia anxiety and joint pain but no hot flashes. Any suggestions? Feeling much older than 46 help

Hi,

I think you can take Vitamin D with calcium supplements in addition to estrogen. Also some anti-anxiety drugs. Regular exercises and yoga can help you in alleviating your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr B. Radhakrishnan. Nair, OBGYN
