Why Do I Have Vomiting Tendency Before And After Taking Food?


I am 60,a diabetic patient for last 5-6 yrs,taking medication,height 5'6'',wt.162lbs. I also have my prostrate enlarged,31 g. 2 yrs.ago I had to operate the prostrate which was 74g.It was successfully done.The wt.of prostate is getting more.It was normal(20g)after operation. I feel a soft vomiting tendency from a week long,before and after food. Please ,advice me what is the causes behind it? Thank you.

Hi,
There are many different causes of nausea and bloating sensation in diabetes, one important cause is gastroparesis. You could also be having gastropathy, maybe atropic related to age.
Try some antacids like ranitidine and see if you improve. Also, take food in small quantities frequently to avoid full stomach. As you got operated for prostate, further growth is unlikely and residual symptoms need follow up with a urologist.
