White Patch On Eyelid, Hydrocortisone 0.5 Ointment, Fungal Infection
My daughter, aged 4 years 8 months, developed a small white patch on her left eyelid . The GP prescribed Hydrocortisone 0.5% ointment to be applied twice a day for seven days as he thought it was fungal infection . This has not helped. She does not have such patches anywhere else on her body. There is no family history of this. Ethnicity is Indian.

hi white patch on the eyelid can be vitiligo or fungal infection.fungal infection is is itchy whereas vitiligo is asymptomatic,.first treat the fungal infection with phytoral ointment .then if still present go for momate ointment in the morning and tacroz ointment in the night and iron supplementation for treatment
