When Should I Stop Taking Thyronorm Before Going For Thyroid Test?
hello sir, during my pre term baby delivery my tsh level gone to 6.....and after delivery my doctor suggested me to start one thyronorm tablet per day....and ask me to thyroid test after six weeks....... Now after 6 weeks of delivery.....how before i have to stop thyronorm ......for thyroid test?????

Dear friend , Greetings from HCM.. I understand your problem ... The symptoms of hypothyroidism include day time drowsiness, snoring, weight gain with loss of appetite , lethargic and cold intolerance.. As you recently delived we can try seeing your thyroid profile without thyronorm too... As in pregnancy there is more chance for being hypothyroid and it may affect the baby .. Now that you need to stop 4 yo 6 weeks prior for the thyroid profile .. Get your thyroid profile when you are not I'll or on any other medication ..
